Social Contribution Activities
Crasus Chemical is promoting communication with local residents and contributing to the development of local communities through sports promotion, provision of in-school classes, and participation in local cleanup activities.
Sports Promotion

As a base of Showa Denko K.K. and Resonac Corporation, the Oita Complex promoted coexistence and coprosperity with local communities for more than 50 years. It then became the main base of Crasus Chemical when it was newly launched as an Oita-based company in 2025. Against this backdrop, Crasus Chemical has decided to support local professional football club Oita Trinita as a uniform sponsor, in addition to acquiring naming rights for its home stadium. Going forward, we will make further contributions to local revitalization and sports promotion.

Local Cleanup Activities

Together with companies comprising the Oita Petrochemical Complex and employees of partner companies, we are conducting cleanup activities in the Matsubara Ryokuchi park and Otozu Futo waterfront areas, which are located in the same neighborhood as the Complex. We will continue to seek deeper ties with local communities and to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society through these activities.

Provision of In-school Classes

We have been providing classes at elementary and junior high schools located in the neighborhood of the Oita Complex since 2004, with an eye to encouraging students to develop an interest in chemistry through chemistry experiments.
